Robert J. Ingram Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Litigation and Legal Services
A lifelong interest in law and litigation prompted Mr. Ingram to pursue a career in the courts more than 50 years ago

PULASKI, VA, July 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert Ingram, a senior partner of Gilmer, Sadler, Ingram, Sutherland & Hutton, LLP, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in litigation and legal services.

A lifelong fascination with the workings of the law prompted Mr. Ingram to become involved in his profession. He has since gained 57 years of experience, with 35 of those years devoted to his position as senior partner at Gilmer, Sadler, Ingram, Sutherland & Hutton, LLP. His areas of expertise include personal injury, insurance, medical malpractice and products liability. Mr. Ingram attributes his success in representing clients in litigation procedures to his hard work and the support he received from his mentors.

Mr. Ingram received a JD and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University. From 1954 to 1957, he was a member of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps and engaged in both the prosecution and defense of cases under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, many of which were high profile cases. Contributing to his success is the fact that he makes it a point to maintain affiliations with various law associations. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers, and the Virginia Law Foundation. He is also a fellow and life member of the American Bar Foundation. For 20 years, he has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been named Virginia Super Lawyer by his peers and independent research since 2006. He is also a Diplomat in The American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA) and The National Trial Lawyers Association, composed of the top 100 trial lawyers in each of the 50 states, which recognized him as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in Virginia.
