Joanne Juliano manages claims system training functions for CMO - The Care Management Company

YONKERS, NY, May 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joanne C. Juliano, Training Manager for CMO - The Care Management Company, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care administration.

A licensed independent insurance adjuster through the State of New York, Ms. Juliano brings 26 years of experience to CMO - The Care Management Company. She performs a myriad of duties in her present capacity as training manager. This includes managing the claims system training function for associates in multiple departments, preparing and maintaining company claims processing policies and procedures in accordance with contracted health plans, New York state and federal guidelines. She also interacts with Provider Relations, Customer Service, Management Information Systems, Medical Management, and external facility and physician billing departments to identify and implement new system and work-flow processes.

Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Juliano lent her expertise to the Medical Management Company of America as a billing representative. From 1985 to 1997, she was a senior instructor for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was recognized by CMO - The Care Management Company in 2000 with a Director's Award for her work on the claims system implementation team and by CMO associates with several Montefiore Medical Center Faces of Respect awards from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, she was honored as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who from 2006 to 2010.
Ms. Juliano received a bachelor's degree in health care administration in 1982 from Alfred University. She is affiliated with the American Society for Training and Development.
