David J. Samms Sr. to be Listed among Industry Leaders
David Samms served for 47 years as an insurance professional for Prudential Financing, Inc.

CHARLESTON, WV, May 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David J. Samms, Retired Insurance Professional for Prudential Financial, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in insurance services.

Mr. Samms retired from a 47-year career as an insurance professional at Prudential Financial, Inc., in 2010. Demonstrating an expert knowledge in estate conservation, he began his career selling policies worth $500. By the end of his career, he had the opportunity to sell a policy to an individual client that was worth $7 million. During his time at Prudential Financial, Inc., he received several production awards. He attributes his success to believing in what he sells and being faithful to his agency, as well as forthright. Previously, Mr. Samms served two years of active duty in the U.S. Army. He was deployed to the Korean peninsula as a rifleman and held the rank of corporal.

Currently, Mr. Samms focuses his attention on making positive changes within his community. He is in the process of forming a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity to provide a Christian-based family activity area on his 127-acre farm. He hopes that families will be able to fish, play, picnic and practice baptisms in his pond.

Mr. Samms graduated from Morris Harvey College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1953. He is a member of the Light Opera Guild and the Republican National Committee. In his spare time, he is a supporter of Maranatha Church.
