Mr. Proulx is a certified human resources professional with three decades of experience in the insurance industry. Having steadily progressed up the ranks in his field, he has accrued expertise in benefit program management and risk management options. Five years ago, he assumed the role of vice president of Cowan Insurance Group Ltd. Mr. Proulx is tasked with developing and leading the company's group benefits practice both nationally and internationally. He manages a team of more than 100 employees who are responsible for group benefits administration, claims and disability management services.

In addition to his success with Cowan Insurance Group Ltd., Mr. Proulx is an accomplished public speaker and published author. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial relations from the University of Ottawa and a certificate in global benefits management from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. A member of the board of directors of The Ottowa Hospital Foundation, he has been formally recognized by the organization for 10 years of board service. Mr. Proulx aspires to become a member of the senior board of directors at Cowan in the near future.
