Pet-Friendly State Farm Agency Rescues Lost Pooch
Linda Allen State Farm Agency in Fort Worth reunites Rockie with owners six days after he went missing.

FORT WORTH, TX, November 01, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As always, State Farm Agent Linda Allen takes her company's motto to heart. Like a good neighbor, Allen's pet-friendly insurance agency rescued a stray dog and helped reunite it with its owners. "Rockie was a smart dog to come to Fort Worth's Pet Friendly State Farm Agency," Allen said.

With no collar, the dog wandered into Linda's insurance office Thursday afternoon. Rockie was wet, tired and hungry. After feeding the big fluffy pooch and giving it water and a rawhide bone, State Farm Agent Jennifer Weidel put a sign out on the road.

Four hours later, Rockie's owners walked in. Rockie had been missing for nearly a week. "He was so happy to be found that his tail never stopped wagging," said Allen. "I think his owners had just about given up on getting Rockie back," said Allen.
