Beginning his career as an analyst, Dr. Chung has 12 years of professional experience. His expertise is in asset-liability, portfolio and capital management. At Allianz Investment Management, he processes investment management services. Dr. Chung oversees asset liability management and strategic asset allocation for four North American entities. He attributes his success to his professional knowledge.

In 2003, Dr. Chung received a Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and the Global Association of Risk Professionals. A contributor for "Variable Annuities: A Global Perspective," Dr. Chung has participated in industry-related conferences on enterprise risk management and equity-based insurance guarantee.
