Patrick D. Kennedy celebrates over 30 years in the Insurance & Risk Management industry
Minneapolis, MN, May 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patrick D. Kennedy, Vice President of Kraus-Anderson Companies, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in Business & Construction Insurance and Risk Management.
With 32 years of claims adjudication, underwriting and Broker Sales, Mr. Kennedy now serves as a Vice President of the Kraus-Anderson Companies. Kraus-Anderson Companies is a privately owned Minneapolis based family of companies with multi-state operations in the Construction, Real Estate Development, Real Estate Management, Insurance Brokerage and Capital Financing services.
Prior to joining the Kraus-Anderson Companies in 1985, he worked as a Casualty Insurance Claims Adjuster for Crawford & Company of Atlanta, GA (1978 -1980), and then as a Property and Casualty Underwriter for the Insurance Company of North America based in Philadelphia, PA (1980 - 1985). He attributes much of his success to the work ethic gifted to him from his parents and family while growing up in Janesville, WI.
A licensed Property & Casualty Broker, Mr. Kennedy received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1978. He is an active member and Past President of the American Subcontractors Association - MN Chapter, a member of the MN Chapter of the Construction Financial Managers Association and a 20 year active member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Edina Morningside, Edina MN. In the future, he intends to continue his affiliation with the Kraus-Anderson Companies, but to also increase his educational activities within the construction trades that are focused on construction contract compliance and standardization.
