JACKSON, MS, May 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Derek Rooker, Regional Underwriting Manager for Mississippi Farm Bureau Insurance, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in property and casualty insurance.

With 12 years of field experience, Mr. Rooker has been employed by Mississippi Farm Bureau Insurance for the past two years. In his position, he oversees budgets, quality assurance reviews, and client complaints. He ensures that rules and regulations are followed, and makes manual updates and policy revisions. He attributes his success to his hard work, faith in God and the support he receives from his colleagues.

A chartered property casualty underwriter, Mr. Rooker received a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate, Mortgage and Finance from Mississippi State University. He is the president-elect for his local chapter of The Professional Association for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. In 2007, Mr. Rooker was recognized with an Employee of the Year Award. He volunteers his services as a deacon for his local church.
