Whiteley has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his incredible work in the Insurance Services Industry. As President of Asset Insurance Brokers (AIB) for the past 3 years, as well as his 14 years in the industry, Greg has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication required to be among the best.

Asset Insurance Brokers is a company which provides a variety of insurance services to their clients. They specialize in home, auto, commercial, travel and life insurance. Their exceptional insurance agents have over 55 years of experience in the industry. Greg has exceptional expertise in commercial business insurance and serves many hotel and restaurant clients. He is experienced in all aspects of commercial insurance, complete from host liquor liability, First Nation Housing, trucking and more.

He grew up in the hotel industry and completed a two-year Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism designation, through the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. His family moved to Strathmore in 1964, where they purchased the Strathmore Hotel. The Whiteley's then proceeded to design, build and operate a full facility hotel on Highway #1 in Strathmore, the Wheatland County Inn.

In 1995, Greg decided to change careers when an opportunity arose with Morrison Insurance. After several amalgamations, Greg sold his interests to Canada Brokerlink to look for a more personal, client-oriented brokerage. He moved on to open the Strathmore Branch of the then-named All Alta Insurance in April of 2006. He became the branch manager for Hayoz Insurance Brokers, a new branch acquisition of All Alta Insurance, in October, 2006.

Mr. Whiteley continued his ascension in the industry when he started an A -WIN branch in Chestermere in May 2007 and took the location out on its own as Asset Insurance Brokers in February 2008. Greg still owns and operates the Strathmore Hotel while being the President of Asset Insurance Brokers.

The community has always been important to Greg, and at 22 years of age he served as the youngest Exalted Ruler of the Elks, and is still active in fundraising for the order. He is also a past member of Kinsmen and once the secretary treasurer of the Strathmore Chamber of Commerce. Greg owns a CAIB designation for insurance. He is a member of the Alberta Insurance Brokers Association and the Alberta Hotel Association.
