Harris Balcombe have welcomed two new more employees into their fold - John Williams and David Toothill. With over 50 years experience between them they will prove to be valuable assests to the UK's foremost loss assessor.

With half a century of experience behind them in loss adjusting and claims management the future looks bright for Harris Balcombe.

John Williams and David Toothill, both fellows of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and Associate members of the Chartered Insurance Institute are now fulltime employees of Harris Balcombe.
John Williams has been a career loss adjuster for over 30 years with experience at practices including Woodgate and Clark, McClarens and Cunninghams. More recently he was a partner at Carr, Greenwood Smith and, following their takeover by Merlin, he assumed the role of Head of Commercial and Complex Claims. He will now be the Partner at Harris Balcombe with overall responsibility for Northern England and Scotland.

David Toothill has spent most of his 20 year career as a loss adjuster with McLarens in Scotland, and more recently as a member of their Complex and Major Loss Team and latterly as part of Teceris. He has substantial knowledge of and experience with dealing with overseas hurricane and other catastrophe and disaster insurance claims. He is a former president of the Edinburgh Insurance Society and an active member of both the CII and CILA in various representative roles. David has joined Harris Balcombe�EUR s Glasgow office with the role of Technical Claims Manager.
